ATS Automation, a global leader in automation, is based in Cambridge, Ontario, which is in my backyard. When the Marketing Manager called me to help out on some e-marketing, I jumped at the chance. Rarely do I encounter a marketing person so expert in the field of e-marketing - you can tell it is a true passion for him, he really gets the power of email marketing, search engine optimization, online ad campaigns, key words and landing pages. It's something we both love, so it's really refreshing to work with him.
Together we built a series of e-newsletters that focus on the unsung heros of automation - the service people and servicing automation equipment. Service, as the world knows, is a huge revenue source that is especially valuable in tough economic times when manufacturers aren't buying new equipment - but the old equipment always need to be up and running, hence service is indispensable.
Writer for Rent has years of experience in creating effective e-newsletter copy (as well as design) that meet industry benchmarks and tell a good story. Without good stories no one will read an online newsletter. The story must contain information that helps the reader in some way. My background as a journalist has given me the ability to uncover a fresh news angle and use relevant (and accurate) facts to back up these stories.
