When the agency called they had the creative concept, website architecture and the technology in place for the Dentyne Kissably Fresh contest. They needed Writer for Rent to write fun and youthful copy for the entire website/contest program, including:
- Dentyne Personality Kissing Quiz that would determine "what type of kisser you are". I had to "invent" kissing types that would match up to Dentyne gum flavours, based on the answers provided in this fun, web-based program.
- Who Would You Rather Kiss? I invented a series of fun characters and made the user choose which one they would rather kiss (your friend's hot mother or your friend's ugly sister is one example).
- Date Night Contest cop: I write a lot of website contest promo copy. There is an art and a science to it!
- Supporting website copy - landing pages, intro copy
This project was something I could really sink my teeth into (sorry!)- writing copy for gum is a fun project. Knowing how to connect with the target demographic is key - you can't be lame, you have to be clever!
