I loved writing for Nike! Who wouldn't? Writer for Rent was under contract with the employee communications company who was handling the Nike Worlwide project for Loss Prevention and Safety Training for their retail locations. As an expert in Loss Prevention employee communications, W4R developed monthly posters and training materials to educate and entertain Nike employees. For the first time in Nike's history, their internal communications took on a different spin than their outward marketing. It seems that in focus groups, employees wanted to be treated differently than their customers. Presto! Different was delivered.
