The ad agency that called me for the Unitron Indigo project was looking for someone who was able to fully participate in client-facing meetings, help work up strategic and creative concepts from the ground floor. They wanted a writer with business sense, who was also able to quickly grasp the science behind the product and the benefits to consumers. The Indigo brand is the premier line of hearing products from Unitron and it was being re-released in an enhanced form. The challenge was to convey the superiority in elegant and understandable copy. The pieces were targeted to their audience: consumer and professionals.
Working closely with creative directors and account executives, as well as the Unitron marketing managers, W4R wrote copy that met their demanding and often fluctuating needs.
